AIM FOR SEVA

OUR HISTORY

The Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, a unit of AIM for Seva, was established in 2019. The school began with 232 students and has classes from Lower Kindergarten to Class VII. Student strength stands at 232 students, with the students coming from 34 villages in 6 districts. Adjoining the school is the AIM for Seva Dharam Kirti Dogra Chatralayam for Boys and Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls. (For more details about the complete support provided for students at the Chatralayams, please visit www.aimforseva.in.)

The school campus is spread over 5 acres, and has 27 classrooms, a computer lab (with 26 computers), a full-fledged science lab (which can accommodate 30 students at one time), a library with books and a playground. Well-ventilated spacious classrooms equipped with comfortable furniture help create the right atmosphere for the children to learn. The provision of school buses and vans helps in terms of safe transport for the students.

The members of the teaching staff are well qualified and trained according to the norms of the Board of Education of Madhya Pradesh. Ably guided by the Principal, Ms. Debjani Dutt, they encourage the child to question, explore and learn. At the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, we regard schooling as a means to enable the acquisition of knowledge, development of skills and the search for understanding.

The Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya established on 18th February 2019 started its first academic year on 24th June 2019. A co-educational institution, the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya is modelled as a K-12 school. It will be expanded in stages, with the primary school getting functional in 2019-2020.
