Well-ventilated spacious classrooms equipped with comfortable furniture help create the right atmosphere for the children to learn. The provision of school buses and vans helps in terms of safe transport for the students.
The members of the teaching staff are well qualified and trained according to the norms of the Board of Education of Madhya Pradesh. Ably guided by the Principal, Ms. Debjani Dutt, they encourage the child to question, explore and learn. At the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, we regard schooling as a means to enable the acquisition of knowledge, development of skills and the search for understanding.
The Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya established on 18th February 2019 started its first academic year on 24th June 2019. A co-educational institution, the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya is modelled as a K-12 school. It will be expanded in stages, with the primary school getting functional in 2019-2020.
To inspire and challenge young minds to develop into caring and committed individuals who strive for excellence in all they do, and pursue lifelong learning.
To stimulate inquiring minds and spark enthusiasm for discovery and exploration.
To focus on all aspects of student development : Academic, Intellectual, Creative, Social, Physical, Ethical and Emotional.
- To provide a curriculum that integrates the philosophy of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and the pedagogy of integrated, value-based education.
- To flourish as a model of academic excellence.
- To provide education that is experiential and transformational in character, rather than imparting knowledge and skills alone.
- To encourage unity of thought, word and deed.
- To develop an active social conscience in students and the inclination to render selfless service to others.
- To select competent teachers who strive to be exemplars of human values.
Each person has five obligations enjoined on him or her as a member of humanity. Such practices help you grow into a mature, caring, responsible person. The five obligations are
- Respect for God
- Respect for parents and elders
- Respect for teachers
- Respect for people
- Respect for nature and all living beings
We believe that self-confidence is developed in a child when he/she understands and appreciates his/her tradition and culture. It is, therefore, our commitment to bring about this transformation by providing a caring and supportive environment. We follow a process of guidance and learning to help the child to grow and transform from being a consumer into a contributor.
